My Favorite Things About The Call Of The Wild
In the book I most recently read, The Call of the Wild, I really liked how the dog, Buck, was really determined. Buck kept up with the other dogs and he never stopped. When he was really good, he wanted to be lead dog. He was so determined to be lead dog that he wouldn't do anything until he was leading the pack. In the book, I also liked how good John Thorton treated Buck. He saved Buck's life. He would always give him food and pat him on the head. He was a great owner for Buck. My last favorite thing about the book was how Buck became one of the best dogs ever. He worked really hard to become a great dog. He was strong and diligent. He pulled a thousand pounds near the end of the story. That shows how hard working he was. He even became leader of a pack of sled dogs. (:

The Call of the wild is an awesome book!! and how determined buck was is just amazing. =)
ReplyDeleteIt's great to be determined, but he needs to learn to settle for not being the alpha. Not everyone can be the best, and if he sits around and sulks because he's second place, that's just not right.
